Looking for a day out that the whole family can enjoy, but won’t break the bank? Fagan Park in Galston is one of Sydney’s hidden gems. Situated in Sydney’s northern outskirts, the Park is a 55 hectare playground for the whole family.
There’s plenty to keep the kids occupied including a flying fox, sandpit, water area, slides of all sizes, climbing gyms and swings. It’s heaven for the ankle biters, and parents alike! Across the acres there is also plenty of space to walk your dog, fly a kite, have a game of cricket or throw together a barbeque under the picnic shelters.
Fagan Park also has an array of beautiful and well-kept International gardens for you to enjoy at your own pace, and you might even spot the eels and ducks in the lake. Also part of the park is the rural museum which opens on the second Sunday of every month, and the original Fagan family homestead which is open to view.
Best of all, visiting Fagan Park will only set you back $5 for parking - entry is free!
