Harry Nanya Tours

Harry Nanya Tours specialises in visits to the World Heritage-listed Mungo National Park, the site of the world’s oldest ritual cremation. The region contains the longest continuous record of Aboriginal life in Australia, dating back 40,000 to 60,000 years. Aboriginal guides tell the stories of the remarkable landscape, part of the Willandra Lakes Region World Heritage Area, and culture from the traditional caretakers of the land.

You’ll discover the history of Mungo and learn about the culture of its people. One of the highlights is the Walls of China, a 30 km crescent-shaped formation of sand dunes. Tours operate daily from April to October for four to 20 people. Mungo National Park Sunset Tours are offered from November to March. Harry Nanya Tours is Aboriginal owned and operated. Pickup for tours is available from Wentworth, a town at the junction of the Murray and Darling rivers in far south-western NSW, or nearby Mildura. Airlines service Mildura Airport from Sydney.
