Food 'n' Groove - Festivals and Celebrations, Leisure


*** Latest event details are yet to be confirmed *** Food 'n' Groove, a celebration of world music, food and dance, will be held at Bexley Park on Saturday 27 October 2012.

Bring a blanket and the family for a great day of live music and dance, kid's rides, vintage cars, market stalls and mouth-watering global cuisine.

Food 'n' Groove showcases the cultural diversity of Rockdale City and includes Aboriginal, Chilean, Brazilian, Latin, Caribbean and Blues music and performers.

There will also be information and demonstrations based on local and home-grown, sustainable food options. Helen and Steve, contestants from My Kitchen Rules will be hosting one of the many cooking demonstrations.

Bring your own reusable water bottle and try out the free, innovative filtered water refill station. Visitors are also encouraged to bring a can of non-perishable food to donate to Bay Food Care.
